Fashion hasn’t always been the focus for LFT creator Ort Varona. Just a few years ago, Varona was part of the human resources group at Southwest Airlines when he realized there was a huge retail gap between flip-flop casual and corporate cubewear. Determined to fill the need, Varona left his longtime position at Southwest to open his first store, Octane — and later, Premium 93. LFT is a natural extension of his revolutionary modern-merchant retail philosophy, which puts personal service back on the retail floor.
